Italian breakfast
Maritozzi, panuozzo, eggs benedict and proper espresso. Saturdays and Sundays only — slow start, big plates.
Granary Wharf · Leeds · Since 2012
A bar, a restaurant, a deli — under a Victorian railway arch on Granary Wharf, run since 2012 by a family who used to feed Milan. Pasta, pizza, antipasti, late-night cocktails. The way it actually is at home.
Live Life More Italian

The cooking
We don't bury good produce in cream sauces. The carbonara has guanciale, pecorino, eggs and pepper — and absolutely no cream. The tomatoes for the pizza base are San Marzano. The mortadella came from Bologna. If a dish on this menu seems plain, that's the point.
A day at LIVIN'Italy

10:00 — 12:00
Maritozzi, panuozzo, eggs benedict and proper espresso. Saturdays and Sundays only — slow start, big plates.

17:00 — 19:00
Negronis, Aperol, a Sicilian olive plate, a Burrata to share. The Italian way to start an evening — never rushed, never standing up.

21:00 — late
The pizza oven runs until 11:30 (12:30 on Fridays and Saturdays). Walk in for a truffle cacio e pepe and a glass of Barolo on the way home.
Mattia Boldetti, founder
My parents had a restaurant in Milan in the eighties — that's the kitchen we cook from here. Italian food in this country had been frozen and breaded into something else. We opened LIVIN'Italy to put it back where it started.
